I am a qualified illustrator/early years educator/atelierista considering doing private lessons for preschoolers. My passion is in developing mark-making from emergent drawing and writing scribbles to representational drawing and letter strings and beyond.
I'm posting here because I was hoping for feedback on what sort of price people would be prepared to pay for an hour of this sort of session in their home with their children. I'd provide the materials.
I know that tutoring for preschoolers has had some negative press but I know the passion that young children have for early mark-making and the value that has in later years. I'd work with parents to help them to understand how to encourage children to develop their skills in a playful way that they can enjoy together.
Any feedback would be really gratefully received. I'm just in the planning stages at the moment.
