Just watching the last edition of CTM, and as the new baby is presented to the mum, the mum smiles and says "Hello" in a slightly surprised voice. It struck me as beautifully observed/very realistic. I think I said the same to mine too. Such a little word, but it seemed just right for the occasion, albeit a bit English/polite. "Good morning, new baby. Very pleased to make your acquaintance."
No real question, though can you remember what you said to your baby/midwives. Do most people say 'Hello'?
