Swingball with a metal spiral and spike - available in the UK?

When I was a child we had a very robust swingball set, which you hammered into the ground, and which had a metal - not plastic - spiral thing at the top. I'd really like to buy one (I'm in London) - we have previously purchased a standard one with a plastic base and plastic spiral thing - it's just not as robust and incredibly frustrating. I've found one online in NZ www.outtoplay.co.nz/product_info.php?products_id=7998 but don't really want to double the price by paying postage! Does anyone know whether they sell them here in the UK?

TIA

Thanks Mel. From the look of it though, these have plastic spiral bits at the top? We have a mookie junior swingball with one of those plastic things, and the ball /cord seems to get stuck a lot (maybe I just got a dud one...)

I agree that the metal spiral bit is much better. You could try ebay as there are some new metal spiral ones there (I think the seller has a shop called sports locker)or from the USA there's an all metal one like I remember we used to have on www.shapeupshop/games/tetherball. Good luck!
