Maths shark - does anyone have one and if so what do they think of it?

Am thinking of buying one for my DS5 for his 6th birthday. An educational gift from Grandma. He loves maths and I wanted something a bit fun. Reviews on US Amazon are mixed. The alternative is Listen and Spell from Lexibook but cant find any reviews.

We had maths shark to help DD with maths but it was a fun way of trying to get her to do maths. I thought it was quite good.

She would have been mortified to receive as a present though - it would have been like giving her a ton of maths homework!
