Where can I buy a toy Roman soldier in Bath

or soldiers?

DS and I are going to Bath for the weekend and he is determined that I will buy him a plastic centurion or legionary while I am there. I'd prefer a "real" looking one rather than something from Playmobil. Long shot - but does anyone know whether they sell them at the shop at the Roman baths? Is there a big toy shop in Bath?

I think I remember seeing little metal roman soldiers in the gift shop at the Roman Baths but I can't remember anything more life-like looking (last went a couple of years ago, though). If you can't find anything suitable in the museum shop, there is a good toy shop just around the corner - Eric Snooks which sells that range of plastic animal and human figures including lots of historical soldiers - can't remember the brand but I think it's German. The shop is less than five minutes walk from the museum - just carry on down Stall Street, and it's on Abbeygate, which is a little kind of alleyway off to the left. Hope you find something.
