have dd 4 and ds 12 months. Grandparents want to buy indoor ride on for ds for Christmas. Like the look of both, any thoughts? Thanks!

Definitely the wheelybug. Ours have had both - DD (4) was bought the trike by her grandparents for her first birthday and we bought DS (2) the wheelybug for his first birthday - the trike has hardly been used at all but they both whizz around on the wheelybug on a daily basis!

very helpful. And should we go for bigger or smaller? grandparents just asked will it be okay on our wooden floors, ie will it damage them? I am a bit past caring and think marks will add to character but it would be good to know!

Well we've got the smaller one, which DS was able to ride on pretty much straight away aged 1 - his feet just about reached the floor - and DD can still use it (despite her unfeasibly long legs) so I would say go for that!

And our wooden floor seems fine - but maybe like you I am just past worrying about things like that!

We have a Puffy rather than a Wheelybug.

I liked it more because it's softer and has a tail to stop little tots sliding off the back, it's steerable and the soft bit comes off to become a cushion once the toy is grown out of. He even has a squeeker in his crest.

I've seen them for £55 in the Uk which is about the same as a Wheelybig AFAIK.

DS got his at 1 and was riding him today at nearly 3...

Thanks both of you. We have ordered the Wheelybug cos grandparents have now fallen in love with it. But - how cute is the Puffy! Maybe number three or a very special god child (more likely!)
