My 3yr old is dead set on a bicycle for christmas since she saw a lovely purple one on the back of someone's car in traffic. It had purple butterflies fitted into the wheel spokes.

Just plastic static butterflies that look pretty, they don't spin or anything.

Does anyone have any idea where I can find these or what they are even called as I have tried searching for them online but have had no luck whatsoever. Really need them for Christmas....!

Would really appreciate your help , thanks!

was it this bike?
because they seem to be part of the bike.

Missybaby · 14/11/2009 21:48

You had me worried there as I opened the link as we have already bought another bike!

Anyway, no they are not the same but I do like that bike!!

They were more obvious and I would say that they were larger, say 2 or 3 inches across.

I'm looking but I'm having real trouble

Meglet · 14/11/2009 21:57

when I was younger they were called 'Spokey-dokeys'.

Missybaby · 14/11/2009 22:05

Meglet, you are making me feel old!

Ok, I will look for spokeydokeys!

this is the closest I can find I'm stumped

Missybaby · 14/11/2009 22:18

I found Disney Princess Wheel Spokies (sorry, don't know how to do links), and they do have butterflies! But, not quite the same, but more like what I'm looking for.

Think I'm going to have to go for these, as they are cute anyway.

But if anyone finds purple butterflies, PLEEEEEEASE tell me!

Is it [http://www.tireflys.com/bicycle.html these], scroll to the very bottom. They're very funky anyway, quite like the spiders for ds

cinnamini · 18/11/2009 20:28

oops [http://www.tireflys.com/bicycle.html these]

Sigh ... once more ... if you click on Products, then Bicycle and scroll nearly to the bottom they're down there. US site, haven't checked if they ship to UK ... might be worth a look
