What's the latest doll for girls aged 6-8?

I want to buy my 2 flower girls aged 6 and 8 a doll (when I say doll, I mean a baby like Baby Annabel for example) as a present for being in the wedding. I'm just not sure what the latest doll is and I know they already have a Baby Annabel.

You may wonder why I don't just ask their mum what they would like but I've already asked her and she keeps saying you don't need to get them anything!

Any advice is more than welcome. Thanks!

Oh and the reason I want to buy them a doll is to give them something to play with with during the (boring for children) speeches.

Groovy Girls?

I was going to say groovy girls too - you can actually get a bridesmaid one.

Anything Littlest Pet Shop is a huge hit with my 6yr old and her friends. There are sets for around £15 to £20, or any amount of individual/smaller pits and pieces. They get huge amount of play/time out of them, loads of scope for imaginative play etc
like this one
