Hi, I have to buy a birthday present for a 3 year old and haven't got a clue, as all the children I know including my own are boys. Any ideas? Thanks.

Dressing up/wands/bags

Furreal friends

Playdoh

Dressing up clothes (Disney princess dresses etc)

Plastic clippy-cloppy shoes

That should please most 3-y-o girls!

Yes, pink sparkly things and I'm not remotely sympathetic!

Well yes - mine also likes dinosaurs, Scooby doo and Star Wars but I imagined that was not typical - perhaps I am wrong .

Her sister was obsessed with penguins

If you don't want to go down the stereotypical pink and princessy route, something like paints or playdoh would be a good bet. Or a scooter if you're feeling very generous.

Although anything to do with fairies, princesses or babies would be much appreciated (despite my best efforts!) by the little chopster who is three next week.

do you know the child at all? One of my dds always loathed pink glittery stuff, even at 3, she would have much preferred things about earwigs, she still would at 9.

all my 3 liked, at 3, things to do with animals, arts, crafts, outdoor activities, playmobil, cooking, books, lego, playdoh or clay, animal hospital.

Good point, I am not sure how gilrie she is...
Still lots of fab ideas, thanks all.
