Reborn Dolls for Kids

Hi everyone, my daughter is turning 9 in September and is desperately wanting a reborn baby doll. I've had a good look online but don't know which ones are actually going to be decent for the budget I have of up to £100. There's loads on amazon but most have very mixed reviews. Can anyone recommend any? TIA 😊

The reborns are a sad reminder of what’s been lost imo. Personally I wouldn’t be giving my 9 yo one. What’s wrong with the usual dolls that are dolls for kids

What exactly has been lost? She plays with dolls...

She's referring to their typical use of offering comfort to bereaved parents.

Imagination

It's still imaginative play, but thanks for your opinion

A doll to £100 for a child to play with? Tbh I don't get it.

AnSolas · 31/05/2025 12:01

Have you looked at the history around them?
The reborn bit is about a baby who died.

But they're not just for that. Why comment if not responding to what I've asked for? Instead just giving your opinion?

I know they're not. I was just explaining her comment as it appeared you didn't understand.

Some bizarre responses on here OP! Did you find one in the end. Looking for a good company for DD. So many look like scams
