Dr Who - Parents of 11 year old boys

Visiting family abroad and want to take gifts. 11 year old nephew is a Dr Who fan. That age is a distant memory for my dcs so asking advice. Would the picket watch/sonic screwdriver be too young for an 11 year old?

Oh no that would be great (nearly 11 yo DD whovian). Items are harder to come by than other things like harry potter etc.
