Tonie or Yoto for 2 year old

For my sons Christmas present I'm looking at which of these to get. I really like the idea of the yoto mini but I know he would love the Tonie figures.

Are yotos still good for 2 year olds? Which do you have? Which do you prefer?

We got a Yoto Mini for our then two year old a couple of years ago. Now that he's 4.5 it's growing with him more than I think a Tonie box would. It's also been great for taking away on holiday and using with the wireless headphones in the car.

For one horrible moment I thought we were on baby names.

I'll get my coat...

DD1 got the yoto mini last Christmas at 2.5yrs and she loves it. Not sure if the toni is the same, but I love that the yoto is fully controllable by the app. She loves listening to the sleep radio to drift off (she calls it her "calming music") and it's been amazing for me when DD2 was born earlier this year, as she has become a lot more independent at falling to sleep without me in the room with her. She needed a little bit of help with the buttons to start with, but soon cracked it herself.

My kids love the Yoto. We have one that the two youngest share with all the cards - then my oldest (10) had the app on the tablet with the same cards and listens every night. The app is great with lots of content that you can play through the actual device and you can record your own stories. My kids love this as they play silly stories to each other that they have made up. There is a radio station too. It’s all very sweet and fun. The Yoto itself is sturdy and has survived a few drops from bunk beds. They cards are nice and easy to store in a wallet.

I meant to add, we have the full size which sits on a fab magnetic charger - doubles as a lovely clock/light. Go for it OP. You won’t regret it

One word of warning - there is a movement/PE type station that they somehow got onto at bedtime, I ran up to see what the banging was to find them doing star jumps in bed 🤣😅
