Mellow Mat or Totter and Tumble

HELP!

I am looking into getting a “permanent” play-mat for my 7mo old. I’m torn between the Mellow Mat and the Totter & Tumble.

I prefer the designs of Totter and Tumble BUT I love how soft the Mellow Mat is.
I have hard wood floors downstairs, a rubbish rug which will be discarded and a dog.

In reality which is best? I know the Totter and Tumble is soft but not as soft as the Mellow Mat. The Mellow Mat is more like a rug, which I do like having as it’s warm and soft.
BUT having a dog, baby eating on the floor is it such a good idea?

I am so unsure! Please someone help.

Hi did you decide in the end? We have a totter and tumble one and love it but I need a new mat in our other room as I’m starting up as a childminder and was looking at the mellow mats but I can’t decide!

Hi! I went for the totter & tumble! I managed to get a pristine second hand one and when I looked at prices for the bigger Mellow Mat, it was too much! My baby is super sicky and messy and I’m so glad I went for the totter & tumble. So easy to clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing! I liked the Mellow Mat but when I posted on Facebook SO many people recommended the totter and tumble too! X
