Amazon fire tablet, can you opt out of videos?

Just got one for our 5 year old. With a Kids+ subscription.

Can you opt out of the videos altogether?

Don't ask me why but we've always done TV shows on the actual TV and games and other apps on the iPad and we wanted to carry on this way. But seems like Kids+ is just so many videos. Even though filters for age are quite narrow.
