At the start of the game the 24 wooden beads are placed on the marks on the caterpillar. So there will be a bead on each mark of the corresponding colour.

Each child gets a little coloured tower that they will line the beads up on through the course of the game

Players take turns and the first person to throw a red starts

I can read the German! It’s a game for 2-4 players. Each player gets a little bead tower to build. The goal of the game is to collect all the different coloured beads in the order that they appear on the caterpillar.

Start by giving each player a tower, and placing the appropriately coloured bead on each segment of the caterpillar. The players roll the dice to see who goes first (a red roll begins). They get to roll twice each round. If they roll the next colour they can take a bead. But it must be done in order, you can’t win a yellow bead before the orange one!

If you win a bead you can have another roll. If not, it moves to the next player.

First player to have all six beads in the correct order is the winner! 🏆

The goal is to get 6 different colour beads in a set order on your tower.
