Bike and Scooter helmets - micro, hornit, kiddimoto

My DS will be 2 soon so he’s getting the standard 2 year old presents of a micro scooter and balance bike (looking at the hornit one).

I’m really struggling to choose a helmet though. He hates having anything on his head so I’m keen that it’s as comfortable as possible and also looks fun.

I liked the look of the hornit ones but read a review about them being low on the front. Micro ones look fun. Kiddimoto seem to appear quite a bit too.

Any other suggestions or recommendations on comfort?

We were torn between meteor and XJD. Went for meteor in the end due to price, reviews and the fact that I wasn’t sure XJD would be quite small enough.
