Any ideas for 8yr old girls toys??

My partner has a near 8 year old who visits us every school break as she lives far.

Wanted to get some bits and bobs to stay at ours for her! But I have a 9 year old boy and he very much just likes gaming at the moment!

Any ideas?

Also for Christmas and birthday too!

Thank you xxx

DD is 7 and a half and isn't massively into toys, but she loves craft stuff. She loves a trip to The Works, The Range or Hobbycraft

Their tastes vary so much and from month to month, so I'd be wary of spending a lot, if she's a fairly infrequent visitor. Have you any way of asking her mum (assuming that's who she lives with the rest of the time?)

Lego/Lego Dots seem to be popular at the moment

Hama beads? If she likes craft stuff? Hard to say without knowing their interests. A lot have outgrown a lot of toys by that age.

Lol dolls are big with girls that age.

My oldest loved our generation dolls at that age but my stepdaughter only liked gaming - it really depends on the child

Lego?

Lego, craft and science kits are biggest things here.

depends entirely on the child. Some love cuddly toys & crafts, others prefer gaming & football.

If she doesn't see you often, probably something that you can do together is good, so board games / baking / sport that both kids like?
