Paddling pool leak driving me crazy!! Any advice / home solutions?

Last year I brought a large 8 person inflateable paddling pool online in the sale.
Worked amazing for that summer.
Cleaned it and stored it away properly in the house so was well taken care of.
This year have blown it up and found that both of the rings are leaking through the valves where the screw lid thing goes so it's basically completely deflated within 2-3 hours.
Me and kids gutted because I know I won't be able to afford one this good again so hoping that someone had a similar problem and found a solution!!
Tried stuffing the value with wet tissue before putting the lid on but only delayed the deflating by another hour. :/
Have included pictures of the holes.

(Also have checked for any other tears or rips but can't find any and can also hear the air coming from the valves.)

Gorilla tape is waterproof, you could try putting it over the holes.

Vaseline on the rubber seal on our kayak hatches works so how about trying that.

Slightly OT but be careful with these portable plastic pools and dont let anyone jump into it feet first style.
