Sindy, Lottie, My Generation and similar child like dolls?

DD (5) wants a doll with long hair that she can "do hairstyles on". I've been looking (on the internet) at the new style Sindy dolls, Lottie an My Generation. Obviously they are quite different sizes, but they all seem to have long style-able hair. Could someone please let me know what they think of these dolls?

DD has the designafriend dolls from Argos which are very similar to our generation but cheaper!
She loves them.
The designafriend ones come wrapped in tissue in pink boxes and all the accessories do too.

Lottie is too small for hair styling.

We love Lotties in our house. They are brilliant little people and have great costumes to do their adventuring in. The hair is lovely - nothing like the horrible nylon like barbie has (and don't get me started on the horrific matted knot that is Rapunzel's hair...).

Having said that, you'd have to be fairly nimble to 'do' her hair - because she is quite little her long hair ins't actually that long.
