Any Star Wars experts out there who can advise? Looking to get DH one for his 40th for max spend £250 or there abouts. The ones I'm thinking of are millenium falcon 7965 or Death Star 10188.

Those were the two I was going to suggest.

Ok thanks that's reassuring , I'm along the right lines then!

Dh wants a Death Star. But he thinks the Millennium Falcon is cool too.

Death Star 10188 is unbefrickinlievable. Created with so much love and skill.

I love the AT-AT walker personally

Lady-can I ask is the 10188 good from a playability perspective or is it more a display item when built ?

Death Star. It's so iconic, I'd love it.

I think any Star Wars fan would pretty much die for the Death Star.

The Death Star is amazing, I have it Blush Aside from being a bit unwieldy (just from a sheer size perspective) and quite heavy when it's built I think it's pretty playable. I would have gone nuts over it as a child Grin

I bought DH the 10221 Super Star Destroyer for Christmas last year. We've not built it yet but, having read reviews, that seems to be much more of a display piece and doesn't stand up to being moved about very well.

The 75059 Sandcrawler looks great as well but the Death Star has so much packed into I think it's the better set.

It's really really playable.
