Baby bouncer or baby swing?

Hi there, my brother has offered to buy us a baby swing for when our baby arrives in 3 weeks. We were originally just going to buy a bouncer but he has offered to buy a more expensive swing/bouncer. Can anyone help me decide which one to get and pro's / con's of both please? The swing will more than likely take up more room, but if it foes the truck in keeping baby occupied while I can get on with stuff around the house - it may be worth it!

Thanks for your advice. First time mum so all advice appreciated!

Hi, I would recommend the BabyBjorn Balance Bouncer as a seat for when your LO is little (with a clip on activity arch for entertainment, eg the Tiny Love sunny stroll). it lasts a lot longer than many baby chairs as it has different heights and it's also washable!

Or the Jumperoo from about 5 months onwards for entertainment. Won't be much use to you till 5 months at the earliest though.

I tried a swing but DD didn't take to it, yours may be different though, some people say the swing helped their baby sleep.
