We want to spend around £30 but as we are taking a plane, we need to keep it light. What is a popular toy at the moment?

Lego. My god ds loves his Lego (3.8). You could get something small and have a little lunch bag so he can keep it contained. That plus a couple of magazines with stickers and stories.

An Gup-A, B,C,D or X - Octonauts.

Or duplo or the start of a wooden train set.

Lego (not duplo).
Just bought a big tub for DS1 (4 and a bit), and his little brother (2) loves it.

Large but light - hot wheels track and cars

He has lots of Duplo and wooden train set already. I am not sure whether he watches the Octonauts. Maybe something V tech or Leap frog? Juast not sure what is popular at the moment.

Is the 3 year old going on a plane or are you taking a gift?

Take lego but take it out of the box and put it in a sandwich bag?

DS really liked the Thomas take n play toys at that age. He also has a lot of octonauts toys which were popular even with friends who didn't watch it.

Dressing up stuff also popular - and light!
