Roller skate recommendations for an 8 year old please

DD wants a pair of roller skates for her 8th birthday in July. Never looked at them before, don't know anyone who has a pair so just after any recommendations.

Also, any thoughts on skates v heelies (sp?)?

I bought my daughter (9 years) these for Christmas, they are great. Adjustable so they grow with them!

These rollerskate (rollerboot?) type seem easier to master than the rollerblades.

My son had heelies (but outgrew them so fast, he was up a shoe size before he even really mastered them!)
