Baby Gym, suitably padded for use on wooden floor

Pretty much what it says in the title really!

I've read in reviews on a lot of these, especially the Fisher Price ones, that some of them are a bit thin and not nice for the baby if being used on a wooden floor.

I'd also, ideally, like one which I can dismantle and take other people's houses.

Any recommendations gratefully received.

Oh I am interested in this too...

We have wooden floors but put soft foam alphabet mats underneath from Argos worked a treat and have moved them around as DD's grown.

Alphabet mats sound a great idea as I always found baby gym mat got grubby and a thick one would be a pain to dry.

There was a thread a while ago about those alphabet mats being surprisingly toxic should your baby decide to chew on it.

I used
this
Mothercare gym that came in a carry bag and and this early learning centre one.
Both were very padded, but quick drying.
