Am starting to look in advance of my daughters 3rd birthday. Hoping to get something that will last her a while, looking around the £100 mark but equally happy to get a bargain! any one got any good reccommendations?

I got this one for my DDs when they were 3 and 7. It fits barbie sized dolls and looks beautiful, fits into an alcove in the playroom and they can stand/kneel at it to play.

Previously they had a more traditional one with the little wooden dolls to go in it, but they used to get very frustrated because they weren't dexterous enough to position the furniture/dolls properly.

I bought my dd the early learning centre wooden dolls house when she was 3. It has lots of furniture sets and add ons (stables, caravanette, conservatory, multi cultural dolls) that relative bought for her as ideal gifts for Xmas & birthdays. Very good quality and hard wearing.

Thanks, was just looking at that one and a couple of others in that range. They are all so lovely I get carried away!

Have also seen this one on ebay which seems like a bargain, but am not sure if it may be too small now? can anyone else vouch for it...

I saw the elc one a while ago...when it was half price!!! should have planned ahead and got a bargain! her birthday is not until DEc so have plenty of time to spot a sale. I like the odea of her being able to have other bits to go with it and with bday and xmas so close it's nice to be able to give present suggestions to relatives.

I think if you do some kind of sign up thing on the elf website they send you discount vouchers around birthdays and Xmas; my do are 8 & 6 now and I still regularly receive them.
