Pull along / ride in metal carts - Radio flyer alternative?

Would love to buy this proper Radio Flyer for DS2 (3) to play with in the garden (and I think my other DCs would like it a lot as well). However, the price is an offputting factor.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience of cheaper alternatives like this?

Is it worth paying the extra for the real thing or would this alternative be just about as good?

Many thanks for any help and advice anyone can offer!

dcs have this one which is strong enough to take both of them and their stuff.
We have also used it to remove an engine and lug really heavy sacks around.

Well worth the money.

Thanks Aspirin... if I get that one I may even be able to convince DH we need it for the gardening Smile The only downside is that it doesn't have the red shiny factor...

You can paint it red. Another good thing is that they do not rust. and it takes my weight

A definite bonus Smile - I can't wait to have a go! Can you pull the handle right back and use them like a go-kart? (I'm asking this on the children's behalf rather than my own!)

Yes, you can!

There is quite a bit of steerage as the handle moves a fair bit (not in a wobbly way, it's meant to).

Thanks Aspirin! Have a few weeks to ponder and hope for better deals before DS's birthday so am hoping either your cart or one of the other two I mentioned above has an amazing special offer on it before then!
