Have you seen the Lego Life of George game?

I've just been made aware of its existence by an e-mail from Lego, and am wondering whether it would be any good for DS1. Thing is, DS1 is almost 9, but the game says 14+. Is this because it's really hard? Or is this because it requires an iphone or ipod touch to play? (Am thinking DS1 could use DH's).

Any thoughts?

Thanks so much for posting this!! I had not heard of it before and it is perfect for my boys! And even better, we will be in the US for Xmas so I just orded it from the US site which is much cheaper.

If it helps, having watched the demo on the Lego site, I have ordered it for my boys aged 10 and 7. I think there is no reason why it would be for 14+ except the need for the iPhone.

Might lob it in the direction of the grandparents as a suggestion. Unless someone who's seen it in real life turns up to tell me it's a ridiculous idea.

Interestingly, on both the US and UK Lego websites, it is in the "hard to find" section.

What does that mean when it's on a website? I can understand it might mean, 'not available in all stores', but if you order from the website does it mean 'we've shoved it in dark corner somewhere and can't remember which one?'.

I think it means limited availability and not available in many actual shops.
