We live in a country where all toys are imported and heinously expensive so I'm planning to make the most of being in the UK over Christmas to get DS some really good, versatile toys which aren't too heavy and don't take up too much space in the luggage.

What are your top, most played with toys? No specific budget as it's his first Christmas and first birthday that we're looking at!

He loves his stacking cups, Captain Calamari and various plastic bottles filled with water, rice and cornflakes (odd child...).
