Hi, my daughter spends a lot of time on youtube watching videos that other children have made now she would like to make her own so was thinking of getting her a video camera or Kiddizoom.

Has anyone got a kiddizoom? are they worth the money? or am i better of getting a grown ups camcorder?

DD had a Kidizoom camera (which I have just ebayed, and bought her a grown up one!). The Kidizoom one has games and lots of cool effects like photo borders and horns etc but the quality of the printed photo was rubbish. Kidizoom do a video camera now too - no idea what its quality is like. Depending how likely she is to drop it, I might look at second hand cameras on ebay and get her a grown up one.....

My DS has this one

He loves it, its easy to use and you can connect it to your tv too to watch the films you make on it.

Not tried printing any pics from it so cant comment on that side.

Would be good if it could be recharged instead of having to buy new batteries, but I just buy Kodak ones in poundland so its not a big issue.

Its been dropped a few times with no ill affects.
