We are attending a few NCT first Birthday parties and have no idea what to give really, our DD mainly received books, should I do the same it's just it seems so unoriginal.

All ideas welcome.

I Love giving books as pressies - especially to a 1st child, but then I love reading stories to kids as well :)

Push-along / pull-along toys are fun as they are all getting their feet.

Tomy Hide & Squeak eggs have always been a BIG hit with my kids and are on my reserve list for any 1st birthdays!
