Washing a 'jelly kitten' toy

Our daughter has a few of these soft toys and, whilst she enjoys playing with the myriad of labels on each one, they seem to be devoid of washing instructions! Has anyone put their's in the washing machine?

Yep, on a delicates wash, inside a pillowcase.

They were fine btw!

do you mean part of the JellyCat range?

if so, they are absolutely fine.

dd2's chosen lifelong ocmpanion is a JellyCat giraffe. it gets washed regularly - bog standard wash, in with the clothes etc so a 40 degree wash.

it is now 4 years old and looking tattly well loved, but going strong still Smile

DD (who is now 11 -where did the time go Confused?) used to have a Jelly Kitten toy that she used as a comforter and chewed and sucked.

We regularly had to put it through the wash as it used to get quite whiffy and it was fine. Just bunged it in with clothes on a normal 40 degree wash.
