Son of a friend - poor wee lamb has broken right arm (he is right handed) and normally very active. Need to post it; thinking about ordering from Amazon - any suggestions welcome?

DVD - thinking that anything like a DS game would be a bit pointless if he can't hold the ds in his hand. Or a book etc - so I guess a new DVD would be easy - give him something nice to watch when he's relaxing in front of the tv when he wishes he could be out playing.

Ben 10 or Star Wars comics, does he collect anything? Not lego, obviously!!

Playmobil - they even do ones with removable arm/leg casts :)

My DS had his arm in plaster last year (was 4.6) Wasn't long before he was doing all the usual things - running, scootering, cycling, playing tennis , etc. Didn't stop him for long though wasn't his 'main' arm and he does have form (broken leg didn't stop him for long either Shock)
