That's interesting, I read a thread a few days ago about someone throwing one they received for Christmas. They said it smelt very chemically.

I am shocked it can be 'all' puzzle mats,i would have thought that different brands were made differently..obv not

We have one, kids have had it about 3years (worried now) and it has been washed alot, kids tend to spill/vomit/pee on it Hmm

DH bought it, he says chuck it now

I would have thought they would generally be made of the same material?

Not too sure, but you could contact the supplier.

I read this article few weeks ago and decided not to get puzzle mat if not is not safe for my baby, and I found this Bebemat. It been tested by Swiss organisation certification SGS, doesn't contain any harmful substance.
