5 yr old too old for potato head?

My 5 and a half year old ds really wants a Mr Potato Head but thought this might be a bit babyish for him? He has spent his last few wishes (at a wishing well, blowing a dandelion and an aeroplane shooting star).

Does anyone have them and how old are the dcs that play with it?

My DS is 3 plays with his a lot - he has normal and Spudlightyear. My DNs have the Mr Potato pals game which I know they played loads when younger - have had a quick google but can't see where it is available www.amazon.co.uk/Potato-Head-Pals-Match-Game/dp/B002M3N6WC - if you could find it I would recommend.

Actually the new ones I've seen out, I haven't thought they were all that good, with very few accessories. I've seen some on ebay that are cheaper and with loads more accessories.
