I've just been thinking about which of my children's toys / bits of equipment I will be very reluctant to donate or sell when my children out-grow them. One I'm sure I'll keep in the loft is the LikeABike...it's provided SO much fun I don't think I could ever let it go... and I would love to see any future grandkids zipping around the park on it!

Crikey I just googled likabike, I think I would keep it too at that price! They are gorgeous though.

My mum still has my olld fisher price house and camper van which all the grandchildren love playing with. I guess I would keep stuff my ds's loved and which looked like they would stand the test of time, not tv or film tie in toys probably.

My mum has the wooden building blocks we played with as children (my siblings are now 36-48). They were hand made by a very distant relative who has some stuff in the Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood.

Building blocks and lego do seem to be a staple in most lofts. Bizarrely though, we've never had any building blocks in our house- a major omission perhaps?!
