Peppa Pig playsets etc- any good? (or bad?)

DS will be 2 and a half at Christmas. He loves Peppa Pig. I'm looking at things like the playground playsets, the rocket or the cars. They aren't cheap and the Amazon reviews weren't encouraging for a few of them. Just wondering what peoples' experiences of these toys are.

Hi Seaturtle, Dd had the playground set and tbh it lasted about 5mins, the 'fence pieces' snapped off almost straight away, I would say avoid it, however the rocket and cars are more robust. Also a lot of it is half price in tesco atm :)

The only Peppa Pig toy we have had, that has lasted any length of time was the push and go car.

The playground/school/train and rocket fell apart or were broken very quickly. My chidlets aren't even very rough with toys

wWe have the (old style) house, camper van and 3 playground bits (slide, roundabout and seesaw). The house and van we've had for probably 3 or more years) - other than the fact the old house is a bad design all our stuff has stood up really well and is now being playtd with by dd2 (19months). FWIW, the new house looks better (the old one was a bit flat and falls down a lot).

They are a bit fragile but dd loves them. We got the house given to us and she played with it every day fir months. Just don't get grampa dogs garage - £20 for a load of cardboard (well done dh Hmm)

Thanks. We have the second hand play and go car. You seem to mostly back up the Amazon reviews about the playground sets. I had a look at the garage and was a bit bemused by the cardboard too.
