With christmas fast approaching i wondered what would be the best present to get a 12 month old ? he has a big bag of bricks , stacking things ,books ,an old fisher price farm .Tbh his favorite toys are things he shouldnt or we would rather he didnt have ,like the phone ,remotes ,keys ,phone wire ,toothbrushes etc !!!!! Obviousley not going to go mad ,but wondered before i part with any money if anyone has any suggestions

Does he have any push along or pull along toys?
If he's not walking yet, he soon will be and most children seem to love those at about that age.

Things we have got our kids at 12 months or that others have given and enjoyed are a baby walker, a ride on car, mega bloks, plastic rocking horse, playset from his favourite TV show, toy phone, chunky cars, like the Bob the Builder vehicles, can't have too many books imo! At 12 months they can start pressing buttons so books with buttons and noises are great fun.

Wheelybug!

The most loved toy amongst DS and his friends was the vTech walker. It's loud and annoying, but all of them had one, all of them played with it constantly.

Sturdy board books with flaps are good

thankyou everyone , i think the vtech walker thing will be his pressie , it is guarenteed to annoy dh ,so it will be the gift that keeps on giving !!!! he can play with dd's dolly and pushchair as she is apparently far too cool for that sort of thing now ,although will not let me give them away Hmm. My mum found a big box of brio in her loft that was my 30yr old brothers ,so thats next christmas sorted Grin
