I'm thinking of getting one of these done for my nephew's birthday - does anyone have any experience? Have seen a couple of websites making them (they use the child's name, siblings names, maybe the town you live in etc, seems very cute) but no idea of quality or actual story! He loves books and I think he'd get a kick out of it. can anyone advise? Thanks Smile

DD has one that's Winnie The Pooh. SIL bought it for her for her 3rd birthday. She thinks it's the best thing since sliced er sweets.

I had two as a girl and my name and address, friends names etc were just typed into gaps in the print with a typewriter. They were cheap, cheerful and a bit crap but I loved them. I helped Snow White make pies...

Ds has one that his godmother got him when he was one. It is about a trip to the circus and he has a heroic role! It also incorporates our pets as the poor child had no friends at that age.

He has loads of books and there are some that I love reading to him. This is not one of them. The story is very clunky, but of course, that is not the point.

He loves it. I think they make a lovely gift.
