girls tricycle for 3 yo

My DD will be 3 next week and wants "a bicycle" .... I'm guessing a tricycle is the way to go - any suggestions for a good one? Thank you.

age 3 she will probably be ready for a proper bike with stabilisers very soon, I wouldn't bother with a trike tbh, our ds is nearly 3 and has just mastered his proper bike with stabilisers. You can even get proper bikes with parent handles to get them started, saves you shelling out twice.

I'd go for a proper bike with stabilisers, my DD started riding hers at 2.7, trikes are for much younger children, I think DD used her's from 18 months or so.

I'd get a balance bike. My two DSs both have/had one nad they love love love them. If she learns on that she won't need stabilizers - ds1 got straight onto a 'proper' bike and rode off.

Oh, yes balance bikes look fantastic. I've seen loads about, would love one for DD. Unfortunately a kind neighbour gave DD her DD's old trike and first bike.
