Strange things going on in my new house

Hi all,

I've never believed in ghosts or spirits and to be honest think most people that do are a bit silly, however we recently moved into a new house and some weird things have been happening and it's freaking us out.

Last Saturday I was sitting on the sofa with my 6 month old and looked towards the living room door which was open so I could see the hallway. I will swear I'm until I'm blue in the face that I see a shadow of a figure go past the door. Initially of blew it off as nothing, however my partner 2 days later on Monday says something similar caught his eye the landing upstairs but he didn't think much of it either.

On Tuesday I was in the kitchen emptying the kids pack lunch boxes and my partners book which was on the middle of the dining room table some how ended up on the floor. It frightened the cr*p out of me. The alexa also switched itself on last night at 3am last night.

Today I got my daughter off to sleep in her buggy in the living room and started washing the dishes in the kitchen. Suddenly for no notable reason she started screaming at the top of her lungs for no reason as in she was in pain.

It doesn't stop there. Since we moved in 2 weeks ago our dog Ruby (lab) has been acting odd and keeps barking at the wall for no reason.

What are others thoughts on this?

I experienced lots of things I cannot explain. I have relatives who have had experiences, so I know it is not just me.
The worst one is seeing things out the corner of your eye. You don't tell people because it sounds mad.
I once saw who I thought was DH sitting on the bed just staring forwards. I hurried into the bathroom putting the towels away and said omg what are you doing you scared the life out of me. Then i heard DH clunking about in the kitchen and talking. Nobody was sitting on the bed when I went in again. I've had all sorts happen, in many houses i've lived in. Breath on your face is an unpleasant one. The nicest one was something jumping onto the bed, which felt like my old cat. Only someone who has experienced it will understand what I mean.

Honestly, I kept seeing something out of the corner of my eye when we moved to this house, but realised after I’d unnerved myself thoroughly, that it was a trick of the light in certain weather conditions. Fast-moving cloud meant a tall, skinny tree shadow would flash across a window, and sometimes in strong light/streetlight across the floor of the room inside, so it gave the impression of someone passing the window or the doorway of the kitchen.

And a lot of frightening stuff that happens in bed or around sleep (a heavy weight on your chest, someone sitting on the bed, someone watching you from the corner, a feeling of malevolence, vivid hallucinations) is sleep paralysis. Absolutely terrifying, but not supernatural.
