To always have a song in your head?
I wake up in the morning and I have one in my head and its constant during the day, even when I try to sleep at night.
Sometimes it's songs I've heard on the radio but sometimes it's random stuff like Christmas songs when it's not Christmas or songs from assemblies at school.
It's the norm for me but I can't imagine what it's like to have just silence, anyone do the same?

I asked OH what song have you got in your head and he never has one, and same with work colleagues

If it's Schubert's The Trout you have a Samsung! My daughter has a Samsung washing machine and a dryer and they both play it.

Mine's the hold music from the GP's line! I've had it for months. Although this morning I woke up and it was "If You Wanna Be Happy (for the rest of your life)". Great for dancing around in the shower.

I actually think my brain is a jukebox! I wake up sometimes with hymns or Christmas carols (I'm not religious) and wish I could've learned maths and languages like I do song words. I prefer music to TV (unless it's TOTP!) and was brought up with music around me as a child, so maybe that's why.

I always have a song in my head. Sometimes, I kind of mutter it (cannot call it singing). Which is fine, now I'm retired, but it was really embarrassing when I had a song when I worked with the refrain "fuck you, fuck you very very much. Cos I hate what you say and I hate what you do, so please don't stay in touch"

It’s most perturbing, I don’t think I’ve actually heard Nellie for about 40 years! Work can be challenging in summer, we have a persistent busker outside going through Lloyd Webber’s greatest hits, I hate show tunes but there’s no escaping them 😩

I thought everyone had a constant song in their head.

Constantly, sometimes when my head is loud i have multiple songs playing at the same time and I can’t concentrate at all.

me and my DP often randomly say to each other “what song have you got in your head - go!” And we both answer and sometimes it’s the same song which is funny. Probably one of us humming it whilst carrying out our business and the other subconsciously changing the record over 🤣

I have ADHD & my brain is always burbling about something.

Song-wise, most notable was having Kenny the sodding Kangaroo utterly filling my head during my GCSE Geography exam.

In 1991.

From the moment I awoke until the exam finished. And then in bursts on the way home.

I think it's very unusual not to have a song in your head, just from conversations with friends and colleagues. I dont think ive ever come across anyone that doesnt. A guy from work told me that if you have a particularly annoying song in your head that you can't stop thinking of to think of Duran durans Rio and it will reset everything and get rid of it for good. Amazingly it does work 😅
