@LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD, I enjoyed the fabulous fabrications of the camping pod story, Tristan and Molly, not to mention the conversation about what exactly a camping pod was etc. (Can it have been stealth advertising for a new business?)

I'd completely forgotten about it, but weirdly, the current thread about whether you tell your spouse things told to you in strict confidence put it into my head. If I remember, one of the details that really didn't work about the Camping Pod Story was that whatever spooky events led to the OP's husband being discovered screaming and helpless in the snow, and having to be carried up to the house by Tristan -- he kept completely schtum about them to his wife for a full calendar year, until all was eventually about to be disclosed when they went back to see T and M a year later, though the OP clearly flounced when people were laughing rather than being harrowed...

I cannot read that savernake forest story. I read it once and totally freaked myself out, the only way I can deal with it is to tell myself it's a hoax. Sorry op, if you're telling the truth I can't allow myself to believe it.

The thing that really scares me, and I don't know if anyone has ever mentioned this, but Sian o'callaghan was murdered in savernake forest by Christopher halliwell (she was buried elsewhere) - a pond in the forest was found to have her boots in, along with various other 'trophies' from other women who have never been traced that Christopher halliwell is believed to have stashed there.
