ooh OP I wonder if you will dare to answer this one - I am okay with your answer whatever it is, I just wish I knew what to do!

situation - both parents elderly and ill. Could both go at any time. Or live another 20 years, who knows?

question - should I plan my next career move to stay in my area in case this happens? Also if you have any insight into who goes first - or timings - that would be, er, not offensive. So if you can see imminent awfulness of any kind in the cards, I'm okay if you say so.
