Delivery driver said there's a spirit at my house

Delivery driver just came to drop of a package at my work (which is in a house) and said that he always gets a strange feeling nearby, do I know how old the property is, and that there's a little girl wandering around the front garden whenever he comes here.

Don't know what to think now.

Thanks for the posts. I'm not afraid of a pretend ghost and just to clarify no I didn't/don't believe in ghosts, I meant more don't know what to think about the fact he said it at all! As in, why would someone say this, even if they did believe it to be true, to someone they don't know, and then stress that I shouldn't be afraid of it.

Many decades ago a young girl actually did die in the house, as I found out when I asked the owner after speaking to this driver, so I presume he has heard this from someone locally and decided to say this.

This reminds me of the time the tv license guy was round at my first house I'd just moved in and was being harassed for a license but hadn't bought a telly yet!) and oddly told me there were two spirits in that house and gave me a card for the local spiritualist meet up!

Thing is, I was already well aware as the fecking things used to hide my stuff and bang walls. Keys, bags, small ornaments or jewellery would be moved to other rooms and other unexplained shit. My VCR would have its tape taken out and placed on top. I had the locks changed and the police did a full house and attic check for intruders or possible ways of gaining entry because it started to get really bad. I had video cameras on when I was out. Never caught anything but things still got moved. My DM and DSis refused to come over eventually.

Maybe your delivery driver is right...
