Penpal needed for horse mad DD

Excuse me butting in here but my DD is desparate for a penpal who is as horse mad as she is!

She is 8 and just inishing Yr3. She does not have a horse and we can only afford a lesson once a month as they are so pricey, but she has a room full of horse stuff and books and the like!

I anyone has a DD who is of a similar age and they would like to correspond (email or paper!) would you please CAT me.

My dd is also horsemad but much older so no good.

She never had her own horse though she did have a loan pony for a year or two til she went away to college.

In the absence of a penpal get her a sub to Pony Mag.

My DD is 8 in around 6 weeks and is just finishing year 3. She loves riding but none of her friend's who live locally ride and she is shy and struggles to make friend's at the yard. I think a pen pal is a lovely idea I had a few when I was little but people don't seem to correspond like that anymore but can imagine she would love to receive/write letters. Does she sound what you are looking for?

my little girl is very keen on this idea, she's just turned 11 though so not sure how that would fit?

MitchyInge - lovely photo!! I guess your DD is probably a bit old for my DD. If we are ever in Suffolk (not somewhere I have been) we will come and visit him! We are in Liverpool!

androbbob,if it doesn't work out with Mum's DD (she sounds ideal...) post again because our DD is 7 and is a very experienced horsey girl. She has 3 of her own ponies - 2 at home and 1 at professional show livery. She goes to Pony Club and loves showing, horse racing (particularly Point to Points and Newmarket nights!), hunting etc. However she is only coming to the end of Yr 2 and I know a year can make a big difference.
