Greenguard Grazing Muzzle

I have just bought one of these from a well know auction site but it doesn't come with fitting instructions!

It's for my DD's pony who is just about to go back into the big field after 6 weeks in due to laminitis so I need to make sure I fit it correctly.

Has anyone got any idea or by any chance a set of instructions?

Would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Lisa

I have one of these, no instructions to hand but basically you strap it on the the pony's headcollar, using the metal buckle things at the sides and back and over the noseband. It's quite straightforward - my Shetland has to have his headcollar done up quite tightly though as he is an expert at pulling it off over his ears!

Thanks Littlemiss, I bouight it with the greenguard headcollar. How close should the plastic guard be to the pony's muzzle?

I have been using a bucket muzzle but she just stands at the gate the whole day and looks very sad.

It should hang about a centimetre or so away I think. It's the bes muzzle I've used by far. Hope it's a success!

I wish you luck, my pony worked out how to get round this within about 10 minutes. The only way to keep it on was to make it so tight that it touched his nose - therefore unusable. So it's abandoned in the tack room. Let us know if you can get it to work!
