Taking horses on holiday

We never have holidays, maybe once every five years or so but am interested in idea of renting cottage with grazing somewhere. Probably not too far from here (Suffolk) but with lots of hacking, any recommendations?

We are looking for something like you describe at Holkham in Norfolk, so we can ride on the beach (although Ben will probably think the sea is full of sharks and refuse to go anywhere near!) My Norfolk sister is investigating, so if we come up with anything I'll let you know if you're interested

is just down the road really but would still be fun

Now that am almost definitely doing this in August am beside self with anxious excitement.

Am having bouts of ridiculous anxiety though, a relatively new thing to this extent, what if they die on the way there (my friend DID just put her lorry in a ditch - ramp end stuck in the ditch so horse trapped inside at horrible angle, all ended ok though by miracle) what if they develop some weird condition I don't know about and I fail to get treatment in time, what if the fencing isn't good and they escape, what if it is just post and rail and they break it, what if they don't like the grass there what if they fight, what if I forget to pick out their feet, what if we get there ok but they won't load when it's time to come home etc etc etc
