Well, we went riding on a beach last weekend!!!

It were great!

But now my legs hurt!

Where did you go in the end ? Glad you had a fab time

We went to Suffolk, and also managed to go and see the Redwings santuary near Gt Yarmouth too on the way there.

Oldernowiser - we too are in land-locked Leics!

Only problem is - now she wants to do it again next year too !

I am so jealous of you seeing the Redwings sanctuary - I used to raise money for them when I was at primary school and my best friend sponsored a horse there - gosh, haven't thought about that in years!

Am very of you riding on the beach too. I'm in London so the closest I get to the countryside is riding round the park...

meltedmarsbars, where do you ride in Leicestershire? we're near Loughborough (Beacon Hill)(if you don't mind me asking, ignore if you do, or if I've breached mn ettiquette)

Melted - we've ridden on the beach at Holkham in Norfolk - definitely worth a visit if you are that way...

Older, we don't have a pony - too many other commitments and also it wouldn't fit into dd1's bed (thats the condition of getting a pony - it has to fit in her bed )

Dd1 rides at Markfield - that's not far from you. Beacon hill is lovely - do you have your own horse?

Melted, you're not far from us at all. We have pony (Ben) and big new horse (Nell)Maybe come and ride some time!

Melted, GD will be away 2 weeks in summer hols so if you see this, and someone tells me how to do that contact poster thing, if she'd like to ride she'd be helping to keep Ben fit

And if anyone in north Essex wants to ride my bloomin Shetland, that'd be great! It's like a farkin HiPPO at the moment!
