I have bought some on ebay - much cheaper than other places

I can tell you that if it is a struggle to do up size 12 jeans and yet you have squeezed into 26" jodhs, if your horse is startled by something or makes a sudden unpredictable turn at speed bits of cellulite WILL escape through ripped seam and everyone will SEE

(another good reason not to ride in small scratchy pants)

So I take it that 26 is a 10?

It used to be waist sizes corresponding to clothes sizes as they were in the 80s!

So it was a 24" = size 10

However, I believe a size 10 would now (often) wear a 30" waist...

I have some Tesco value ones that are a 10 that i can still wear at 27wks pg (elasticated waistband!) They have done ok really for £12

I wasn't sure what size to put on a competition entry for jodhs so I went and looked at the ones I already have. According to the labels I have three different sizes and they all fit the same! I plumped for the middle one, won the competition (yay!) and can't even get the things done up. Am having salad for dinner...

I really misunderstood that last post at first ...thought you were entering your jodh size on the entry form for a showjumping class ...wondered why they worried what size your arse is when you are in the ring?

Duh me!

Mmm, that might put a lot of people off entering competitions! Imagine if they published the winners' bum sizes in Horse and Hound.

But would there be a link between size of bum and result?
