Pony decorating ideas

Tackier the better probably, for children's party - they'll have about half an hour with help. Ponies will be debriefed and offered appropriate therapy after the event.

Glitter, tinsel, brightly coloured plaiting bands, coloured hoof oil, old rosettes?

The only therapy will be a mud pit you know

We had some glitter gel for coat and hooves at Christmas(very tacky, yard owner gets very sniffy, pony mildly embarrassed but puts up with it)

Ooh feel excited, there are some things I never want to grow out of I somehow passed my grooming assessment using glittery hoof oil and making glitter gel quartermarks with homemade stencils, perhaps examiner just couldn't face prospect of seeing me again and again

great ideas - Barney is scared of rosettes but he will probably just use that as an excuse to hide in his field until it's all over!

I think you need Katie Price... (can't imagine when else in my life I will ever use that phrase)

Wonder if I could do this for a living? What can you use to make manes pink?

Would that spray in fancy dress hair colour work ? Not sure how it comes up on darker hair/manes, but would give a pink glow at least.

Wish I lived close enough for DS to have his birthday party with Barney. He'd love dressing him up

Know nothing about ponies but the spray colour definitely shows up on dark hair as I've used it on my dd. ALso comes off very easily which I am sure will be a relief to your ponies!

Spent an obscene amount on glittery gels and sprays yesterday, and hoof oil! Has dawned on me will have to braid the manes beforehand and plait tails myself as there'll be seven ponies altogether and only 30 minutes for the children to decorate them in

Am struggling to find enough 'specials' rosettes though - can't bear to part with any of ours! They are sacred!
